Risk Consulting Manager

Job Objectives

To manage and implement the firm outsourcing risk management engagements to our clients according to the regulations of Kuwait Capital Markets Authority or any other regulators.

Job Roles

  • Planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization;
  • Risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business;
  • Risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization such as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors, and evaluating the organization’s previous handling of risks;
  • Establishing and quantifying the organization’s ‘risk appetite’, i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept;
  • Risk Mitigation;
  • Risk reporting.

Job Requirements

  1. Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in finance Statistics, accounting, economics or business administration.
    • Professional certificate from Institute of Risk Management (IRM) or equivalent.
  2. Experience

    • 5-8 years in risk management specialization 1-2 in the level of manager.
    • Preferable with global top 10 accounting firms.

      • Mathematics – Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.

      • Economics and Accounting – Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
      • Administration and Management – Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
      • Computers and Electronics – Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
      • Law and Government – Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.
      • Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
      • Education and Training – Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
      • Personnel and Human Resources – Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
      • Communications and Media – Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
      • Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.


Candidate must have transferrable Kuwait residency.
